Lightweight Polycarbonate Body
This special edition Thunder Shot Mk.II assembly kit features an innovative lightweight clear polycarbonate body that not only reduces overall weight by approximately 15% compared to standard versions, but also strategically lowers the center of gravity for enhanced cornering stability. The kit includes precision-cut clear-type stickers specifically designed for this transparent body, allowing modelers to achieve either a sleek factory look or custom racing livery. At its core, the proven Tamiya 3-piece MS chassis system – constructed from durable black ABS resin – combines a lightweight center section with the N-02 front suspension unit and T-01 rear drive unit for optimal weight distribution. The performance-tuned rolling stock features large-diameter narrow silver wheels wrapped in black arched tires with authentic white sidewall lettering, all mounted on lightweight hollow axle shafts that minimize rotational mass for quicker acceleration. Additional engineering highlights include pre-drilled body mounting points for easy installation, reinforced suspension pickup points for durability, and a gearbox designed to accommodate optional ratio changes.
