About the Tyrrell P34 Six Wheeler
The Tyrrell P34 caused a sensation within the F1 world when it was unveiled in 1975. It sought to enhance braking and cornering performance by reducing the size of the drag-inducing front tires while preserving contact patch area through the use of 4 tires, thereby creating the only 6-wheeled machine in F1 history.The Tyrrell P34 appeared at the 1976 Japanese GP in an overall blue livery, with the car numbers and body side stripes in yellow and sponsor markings written in white. Team and driver names were also written in Japanese specifically for this race.

The Only 6-Wheeled F1 Machine
The Tyrrell P34 is the only 6-wheeled machine in F1 history. It took part in actual races in 1976, and drivers J. Scheckter and P. Depailler went on to drive their cars to a 1-2 finish at the Swedish GP to prove its incredible potential. At the final race of the season, the P34 appeared before Japanese fans at the inaugural Japanese GP held at Fuji Speedway. From his 13th place qualifying position, Depailler overtook the field to briefly lead before a tire puncture dropped him back to finish the race in second place behind M. Andretti’s Lotus.

The highly detailed engine features depictions of ignition cables. Unique front suspension has been accurately rendered. High-quality Cartograf markings included to depict both No.3 and No.4 cars and sponsor markings. Also includes markings for team and driver names written in Japanese, which were specific to the Japan GP. Photo-etched parts are included to depict details such as brake discs, triangular net guard on the air funnels, rear wing stays, large rear wing panel, and seatbelt buckles.

For Greater Realism
Photo-etched parts are included to depict details such as radiator, oil cooler core, nose cowling wingtip, gurney flap, lip spoiler, ABC pedals, engine brackets and more. Includes markings to depict both No.3 and No.4 cars. In addition to the team and driver names written in Japanese, which were specific to the Japan GP, sponsor markings and markings to depict cars which raced at the Canada GP are also included. Seatbelt depictions are included to enhance the realism of the cockpit area.
